Head

Dished / Semielliptical Head
  • This is the most commonly used dished and semielliptical head.
  • The two heads have a similar appearance but the depth of the semielliptical head is deeper and its strength to pressure is stronger than the dished head with an identical diameter.
  • Most basic style
Full-Hemispherical Head
  • This is a hemispherical head.
  • It has the strongest pressure intensity of all heads.
  • Most favorable to high pressure of all heads
  • Favorable in terms of product flow
Cone Head
  • This is a cone style head. Product flow is smooth, with a steep slope. Rounded edge processing is optional.
  • Most favorable in terms of product flow
  • Optional rounding processing on the edge
Plate Head
  • This is a head with a plate bottom.
  • One of the differences from flat plate is rounded edge processing.
  • The lowest strength of heads
  • Unfavorable to product discharge due to rounded edge processing

Plate

Flat Plate
  • The bottom of the tank is finished with flat plate.
  • It is vulnerable to pressure and used for small capacity portable storage tanks.
  • Simple style
  • Unfavorable in terms of product discharge
Inclination Plate
  • The bottom of the tank is finished with an inclined flat plate.
  • It is vulnerable to pressure and used for small capacity portable storage tanks.
  • More favorable in terms of product flow than flat plate style
  • Simple style
  • Favorable in terms of product flow
