Fixed Tube Sheet Heat Exchanger
Fixed tube sheet heat exchanger fixes two tube sheets (heat pipe plates) and the body into one, and fastens cover at both ends on the heat pipe plates with bolts.
- Stainless steel material can be used
(SA240-304 / SA240-316L)
- Shape and capacity according to customer’s request
- Relatively simple structure
- Inspection and cleaning are not possible for the outside of heat pipes and the inside of the body due to structural reasons.
- Applicable when fluid in the body (Shell) is high temperature and high pressure.
U-Bend Type Heat Exchanger
U-bend type heat exchanger bends tube (heat pipe) in U-shape and fixes the end of heat pipe on the fixed tube plate.
- Stainless steel material can be used
(SA240-304 / SA240-316L)
- Shape and capacity according to customer’s request
- Usable even for big temperature difference due to free expansion of curved pipe
- Many heat pipes can be arranged compared to other types with the same body diameter.
- Heat pipes can be removed for cleaning (however, cleaning for the inside of the U-shape is incomplete)
- Applicable when fluid in heat pipe (tube) has a high temperature and high pressure, or for corrosive fluid.
